My name is Tagore Ravi Tej Merugu. Or you can call me Tej, just to keep things simple. I’m a freelance illustrator, Comic Artist, and 2D Animator currently based in Vijayawada, India.

Like many artists, I started drawing when I was a kid. Then in 2011, I quit my studies in Mechanical Engineering to pursue a career in arts. Since then I’ve been teaching myself several aspects of art and animation through observation, books and online courses. My aim is to make work that touches people’s hearts, and hopefully inspire them in some way.

When I’m not making art, I like exploring outdoors, travelling, watching movies & shows, working out, and trying to learn how to play ukulele.
